No. The Price Promise never involves lowering specifications, materials or installation standards. Any comparison must be genuinely like-for-like, meaning you always receive the same high-quality products, professional installation and service you agreed with 5 Star.
2. Is the Price Promise available on sale or promotional orders?
Yes. Orders placed during promotional periods are still covered by the Price Promise, provided the comparison quote matches the same products, specifications and service levels. This ensures promotional pricing remains fair and transparent.
3. Does the Price Promise apply if I change my order later?
If your order specification changes after signing, the Price Promise applies only to the original agreed products. Any upgrades, alterations or additional items would be priced separately, ensuring clarity and fairness for both parties.
4. Are installation and guarantees included in the comparison?
Yes. The Price Promise considers the full package, including installation standards and guarantees. This ensures comparisons reflect real value, not just the upfront product cost, protecting you from misleading lower quotes that exclude essential services.
5. What happens if the competitor quote is unclear or incomplete?
If a quote lacks detail, 5 Star may request clarification to confirm a true like-for-like comparison. This protects customers by ensuring pricing decisions are based on accurate information, not assumptions or missing specifications.
6. What are the terms & conditions to 5 Star's price promise?
Notification of lower prices must be received within 7 days of signing a 5 Star contract. Price Promise claims must be received in writing and addressed to our Head Office in Kidderminster either by post or email, sales@5starwindows.co.uk. A copy of the competing offer and specification of the competing product must be enclosed with the price promise claim. Only one claim per customer per order. 5 Star Windows & Conservatories decision on whether a competitorโs product matches the features offered by us is final.
