On the date and time the relevant trades were on site and punctual. Thanks to the trades, builders, fitters, plasters and electrican. - 19 Jul 2024The salesmen was polite, punctual and listened carefully to what we wanted. The price seemed a lot but we accepted it. The work began when we asked for it to begin. The team arrived with their kit on time. Both fitters worked non-stop. Even the radio, for which they didn't ask permission, wasn't intrusive. The work is excellent. They cleared up most of the mess and everything was left in working order. Unfortunately, one of the doors needed some attention to facilitate opening and closing, but an engineer was here very quickly and made the necessary adjustments very quickly. The original introduction survey was carried out by Ross who was professional didn't try to pressure and took time to allow us to make a decision to suit us. The price was very competitive and the quality of the product is excellent. The fitting team arrived on time and quickly and efficiently removed the old conservatory and had the new one up, secure and water tight before 5.00pm. Came back the following day on time and finished the job. They were polite, efficient and cleaned up and removed any rubbish as they went. What was great about 5Star was that, firstly, they were competitive on price, beating some other quotes we had, and they could also start the work quicker as they have a few teams of builders. A five-star experience from start to finish, even though this was, for them, a comparatively small job - the replacement of a front door: 1. salesman Ran, who was polite, patient, informative and attentive (unlike his opposite number at another similarly local supplier) - and gave me the 'bottom-line' price directly without the usual interminable double-glazing rubbish of "this is the top-line price; I'll see what discounts several phone calls can achieve". 2. the installation engineer Lewis, who was also polite and informative, and thorough and tidy in his work. 3. Installation Manager Adam who attended to answer a couple of queries and effect some very minor adjustments and communicated with me as a human being, not 'just another customer'. - 03 May 2024I first used Five Sar Windows about 15 years ago when they installed lovely sliding patio doors in my kitchen. Recently, in my new house they have replaced a huge lounge window and a bedroom window, both supported properly with steel lintels where a previous company had not fitted lintels at all. Now, they've replaced draughty glass doors leading to the conservatory with lovely secure, double glazed French doors. Excellent installers even replaced the wooden surround in order to preserve the wood theme of the conservatory. Friendly service. Two surveys before installation. No long delay. Made an appointment & saw the quality of their products were better than another Window company. I ordered nine windows & patio doors. That was 2022.Everything went to plan & no problems so far. The sales rep was friendly and knowledgeable helping tus to understand the products and detail the difference between the window quality they supply and the cheaper alternatives you get elsewhere. First came across them about 5 years ago when my parents used them for their extension and new front door. 5 years later myself and my partner decided we needed new windows and doors on our 2nd home in order to make it ready into a proper family home for our 3 month old boy. Everyone at the Kidderminster branch has been very helpful and supportive. The whole process was very simple where a lovely guy Ash came out to give us a quote and go through everything with us. It’s a little different having to choose everything yourself when your first home was a new build and already done for you! There were issues along the way and so completion took longer than anticipated but the outcome was well worth the wait. - 16 Jan 2024We had our windows replaced just over six months ago and we were waiting for the below freezing weather spells to arrive, before making a final assessment. Well, we are impressed our central heating usuage has reduced by nearly 20% and the temperature drop overnight, with the heating off, has reduced by some 3 degrees centigrade. We had three of our largest windows replaced with triple glazed units and are convinced this has mainly contributed to the effiiency gains. The installtion team did an excellent job and all the staff contacted provided an excellent and professional service. We would highly recommend 5 Star Windows. Our conservatory was completed in February of this year and I decided to write my review to include the after sales experience which was so important to me. After hesitating over whether we would get full use out of the conservatory, I now spend as much time as I can sat in it and it has my become sanctuary over the last few months. The build itself had its stressful moments during planning and construction but as sit here this morning I know it was worth it. - 20 Nov 2023I wanted a new front door to replace an old one that had been on my property for 20 years and after looking at various online reviews I decided to pop into the Kidderminster showroom to have a look at a door I had seen on the 5 star facebook page. As soon as I entered the showroom I was greeted by a lady who showed me the door I had come to see and also some alternatives. I knew straight away this was the company I was going to use for my job. I made an appointment for an adviser to visit my home and discuss further. After this visit I had made my mind up and I was definitely settled on having a new Palladio door. The process was an easy one from there onwards. A surveyor came and finalised measurements and details and a few weeks later Paul arrived to fit my new door. He did a brilliant job and the door was fitted without issues. The door looks great and I am so pleased with the quality of the door and also the way in which the process was handled from beginning to end. It was the most difficult time for the window industry. Staff, customers and suppliers were ill. Supplier deliveries were delayered, lost or missing vital components due to the impact of COVID. Some customers vented their dissatisfaction on delays using their review score.
After COVID a team at 5 Star worked through all poor reviews to insure installations were complete and that there was nothing outstanding.

Please be honest. Reviews should be a fair reflection of your experience, whether it was positive or negative. Avoid exaggerating or downplaying it, and try to provide an impartial assessment of your experience.
Use specific examples and details to support your opinion. Photo’s and videos where the sites allow add real value.
If you want to post damning reviews, why not warn the company first? They might take the action you desire to avoid bad publicity.
