A LIFETIME OF REASSURANCE
A new living space or home extension will be a permanent addition to your home, so it is essential that it caters for your every need and fits in with your existing home setup. Please, do not try and cut any corners.
It is poor form that some home improvement specialists do not give out a living spaces guarantee. You will also find that there are living spaces guarantees that are not insurance backed. 5 Star is proud to provide a 20-year insurance backed guarantee (IBG) which is proof that our home extensions are expertly designed and manufactured and will offer sufficient quality over an extended period. It helps that we insist on using the finest materials and components to build our extensions, as should always be the case.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
We have our own self-imposed Environmental Policy, and our 20-year Living Spaces Guarantee is a key part of it. By providing living spaces that last and last, it prevents a customer from needing to replace any element of the design further down the line, which leads to over consumption and harmful carbon emissions.
Most customers will only invest in a home extension once and they will pay good money to get one. So, it not only right that they should get a 20-year Living Spaces Guarantee and an extension that provides endless pleasure and an energy efficient atmosphere.
Our Living Space Guarantee is insurance backed!
Even though 5 Star has been building all types of extensions since 2002, some customers, who do not know us, may worry about us being here to support you over your Living Spaces Guarantee period. With this in mind, and even though we do not believe you will ever need it, all our Living Spaces Guarantees have the additional assurance of a 10 year insurance backed Living Spaces Guarantee issued by the Consumer Protection Association – and 5 Star pay your premium!

If you need help, an adjustment, or have a concern about any of our living spaces covered under your living spaces Guarantee you can simply call our service team on 01562 66660 or fill in an online door Guarantee service request form.
Unlike many of our competitors, 5 Star has a dedicated member of the team who will diarise your appointment at an agreed time, appoint a service engineer to make the call, digitally oversee the visit, order any parts covered under your living spaces Guarantee and rebook an engineer as required.

Living Spaces Guarantee - exemptions...
There are a few additional services that fall outside of our living spaces guarantees’ standard cover, including plumbing, plastering, outdoor living products and any landscaping.
Accidental damage is never included within a guarantee but please be assured, if you do break any aspect of our buildings, we can always fix it, less expensively than any other building company.
Roof Glass units are covered for 10 years, this is half all the other double glazing glass units 5 Star fit, though still represents double the industry standard on roof glass which is normally only 5 years.
