Origin French doors thresholds come in; weathered, non-weathered and mobility. An Origin weathered threshold is the ideal choice – helping keep the elements at bay is an upstand, a lip of just 10mm, which the door seals against. This threshold option can be sunk into the floor, minimalizing the trip hazards while ensuring the elements are kept at bay.
(On a 2-door bi-fold, French door, the upstand is 14mm). For internal or if not exposed location, then a non-weathered threshold maybe the solution, though not severe weather rated.
The Origin mobility threshold is just 20mm high for easy wheelchair access or for those who use walking aids, though not severe weather rated.
