Fixed Frame or Picture Windows give the impression of little or no window frame, just glass, allowing for more natural light and the view. Eclipse Fixed Frame Windows are available in both the Eclipse Super Slim and Eclipse Slim Premium Window system profiles. Any opening aluminium window has a secondary frame to support the opening vents/sashes, which doubles the solid frame area around the outside.

Slim and Super Slim Frames when fitted into oak surrounds or stone apertures fit beautifully. When fitted into a wall which will be clad or rendered a little more thought on how the final finish will work is required.  Please consider the render or finishing materials on the wall around your window, for example the thickness of plaster or cladding before selecting Eclipse Super Slim Fixed Frame Window or Eclipse Slim. Glass and frames, perfectly in balance

There are lots of options – double, triple or acoustic glazing units are available, along with both toughened and laminated glass. All of our 5 Star double-glazed units are manufactured in Britain with sound-reducing technology, excellent thermal performance and are filled with Argon (which is a thermal insulator). However, it is also possible to upgrade your glass further, our designers can guide you through the enhanced extras available.  Fixed Frame windows can also be fitted with opaque or patterned glass so that no one can look in, for a bathroom or other room where privacy is needed. Eclipse’s resilient powder coated finish doesn’t need painting ever again.  To clean, just a quick wipe with a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge soaked in warm water and a mild detergent is recommended (never scrub).
