Residence Windows look just like wood but need no painting or maintenance and come in three frame options: R7 – 75mm Frame, 7 chamber design 75mm Sash, 75mm Mullion replicating a standard modern window frame’s thickness, but visual effect of a timber Window; R9 – 100mm Frame, 9 Chambers, 75mm Sash, this 100mm Mullion Window is to emulate a 4” timber  Windows; and R² 100mm Frame, a slim 9 chamber design, 75mm Sash, 75mm Mullion giving the appearance of traditional 1920s farmhouse window.

The Residence Collection appear to be craftsmen made heritage timber windows but are brand-new UPVC windows and they work like magic! Your like for like energy usage will be reduced, and your home noticeably more comfortable. Up to 9 chambers within each frame make Residence windows thermally efficient, safe, and mega quiet for acoustics. R9 A++ energy rating, 0.8 u-value with 44mm triple or alternative 28mm double glazing, achieves UK Building Regulations U-Values easily and exceeds the requirements.

Georgian or Astragal bars in a Residence window will achieve the Georgian style of your preferred window design. Residence will keep and improve your home’s character. Heritage 19th Century timber look windows beautifully manufactured in UPVC.  Expert craftsmanship with modern processes produces a mix of styles and configurations to suit any stylish residence.  Traditional ‘drip bars’ add an aesthetic feature and ideally reinforce the transom mullion in larger windows.

Dummy butt hinges and working butt hinges retain the original timber windows visual appearance. Working butt hinges perfectly clear openings, which can be a fire escape solution for windows where required on larger vents. Residence’s very own Regal hardware have Monkey Tail and Pear Drop handles and stays which come in clever designs and include screw retention reinforcements, holding locks and hinges tightly into position. Strong, heavyweight hinges were specially designed to accommodate the additional weight of triple glazed units.

You can have a single or two-colour finish, so that you have a matching or contrasting inside colour to your outdoor. Our coated glass has a clever film on the inner pane of all our energy-efficient insulating glass units. It has a high solar heat gain, so retains your heating warmth by allowing a high level of solar energy to flood in, for warmer and brighter interiors, and to reduce your heating and lighting costs. The coating reflects heat back into the room. You can choose 28mm double or 44mm triple glazed units in your new windows, a 5 Star designer will explain all your options (and we do not charge for designer appointments). Textured glass gives you privacy if you can be seen by people passing your property.
