Origin Bay Windows are available in the OW-80 and OW-70 systems. Easily distinguished by the frame thickness, OW-80 comes as a flush casement Bay, internally and externally, whilst the OW-70, frame is slimmer, internally the Bay has more of a Crittall steel look. The Origin OW-70 is available with either square or chamfered bead options. The addition of Georgian bars is enjoying a comeback and look stunning when used on an Origin Bay, adding a blend of personalisation and flair and a modern twist.

Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium Origin Bay Windows can have openers in almost any position, on any elevation, to the left, to the right or at the top, you can choose side hinged, or top hinged or non-opening sashes, often called dummy vents – or a mixture of these to suit you and your preferred configuration – please don’t forget, if a room is lived in, to include at least one fire escape opening and remember FENSA insist on not reducing ventilation (openers).
Origin Bay Windows have Bi-Directional Locking…
Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium have different locks, but both pass PAS:24 2016 and are accredited with Secured by Design. Origin’s slimmer OW-70 system uses the ultra-secure Nemesis multi-point lock. While on the OW-80 it’s the Yale’s Encloser Lock, ultra-secure, multi-point lock – well known and trustworthy.
Both have bi-directional locking, engaging cylindrical cams into a zinc alloy keep, which when compressed provide a dependable system and excellent weather proofing. Add the resilience of aluminium, Ferritic stainless-steel hinges, key lockable handles and laminate or toughened glass if desired and you’re ULTRA- SECURE!
What colours are available?
Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium are offered in almost any colour, yes even Pink! or maybe a trendy black, stunning white and all the desired greys. Origin can manufacture in over 150 different RAL colours and come with a dual colour option (different inside and out).
Origin’s range even includes wood-grain colours. In order to give the Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium a flawless finish, Origin aluminium is coated with the highest-grade powder available. Applied using an electrostatic process after a special pre-treatment, it is then cured at 200°C to form a robust coating that is tougher than normal paint, whilst maintaining a completely smooth surface. Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium are resistant to scratches and are unlikely to fade.
Great handle options...
An Origin Bay Window usually has more openers, therefore more handles than a flat Casement Window, so your handle choice is even more important. Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium’s contemporary aluminium handles match the OW windows themselves, in a unique range of colours to compliment or contrast with Origin’s endless colour range.
You can even colour code the handles to match your frames in any one of the 150 RAL colours.

There’s no more difficult maintenance and time-consuming painting, in fact throw away that paint brush because, Origins brilliant powder coated finish never needs painting. A quick wipe with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge soaked in warm water and a mild detergent is recommended (never scrub).
