Envisage Fixed Flush Windows can be double or triple glazed with clear or frosted glass and as with all Envisage Flush Windows they come as standard with energy efficient black warm edge spacer bar, Argon filled glazed units and low e-coated glass which bounce the heat back into the room. Envisage Fixed Frame Flush Windows are the most energy efficient of all flush window styles.
Some windows have to open
FENSA rules state that fire escape hinges must be fitted to at least one window in habitable rooms, on both ground and upper floors, where a door is not present. All escape windows are required to open at a 90-degree angle, to allow the fire brigade access to the building for emergency purposes or as an emergency escape route for anyone within. FENSA does not include kitchens, utility rooms, dressing rooms, bathrooms, WCs, or shower rooms as habitable rooms. So, if you’re thinking of having a fixed window, please do bear in mind these safety rules.

Double, triple, and acoustic alternatives are available, along with toughened and laminate options. Our standard double-glazed units are equipped with sound-reducing technology, excellent thermal performance and Argon filled as standard; however, you may want to upgrade further and our designers will help you. If you are having a bathroom, toilet or shower room fitted, in fact any room where a little extra privacy is desired, you will need to choose a textured obscure glass pattern, again a 5 Star designer will help you with your options.

In our standard double glazing units we use low-E glass that has a microscopically thin coating of metal oxide on one of the internal glass surfaces. This coating miraculously reflects the heat back into your home yet still lets in maximum light from outside.
