Envisage French windows
An Envisage Flush French Window opens with hinges on each side of the frame, the master sash opens first, and the slave sash opens second, taking with it the floating mullion (the vertical strut of frame running down the middle of the window). So, when both vents are open, a complete opening is generated, without any frame left obstructing the view. Envisage flush UPVC French windows can be fitted with an espagnolette locking system, with a locking handle on each opener. French doors - like French windows
French windows are usually narrower than French doors but have more delicate thinner frames. A French window may have a sill below the window raising it above ground level. Whereas a door finishes lower, with a threshold at the bottom, to minimalize the trip hazards. The French window handles will also be finer than the heavier French door handles, though both are individually lockable, normally with keyed alike keys (one key fits both locks).
