The Residence Bay and Bow Windows are better than timber
All the Residence windows have been created in the style of 19th Century timber windows, including their window sashes, which when closed, align flush with the window’s outer frame, like traditional Bay and Bow timber windows. Residence Bay and Bow windows really do look just like they are made from wood, but they need next to no maintenance. They come in three different frame profile options – the heavier R9 – 100mm Frame, 9 Chambers, 75mm Sash, means the 100mm Mullion window imitates a 4” timber window for a more traditional 1920s farmhouse window look, the R7 – 75mm Frame, 7 chamber designs 75mm Sash, has the 75mm Mullion reproducing a standard modern window frame’s thickness. R2 100mm Frame, has a 9-chamber design, 75mm Sash, 75mm Mullion which gives the appearance of a modern square frame.
Great looking Bays and Bows - lowering energy costs
The A++ Energy Rating, 0.8 U-Value are so low they exceed the strict requirements laid out by UK Building Regulations. Boasting up to 9 thermally insulating chambers, Residence windows are secure and superb for noise reduction. R9 accommodates either 44mm triple or 28mm double glazed units. Use less energy, and your house will be noticeably warmer. The Residence Collection looks like old fashioned timber but works like the most modern low maintenance UPVC windows!
