Statement Ceilings

That much neglected “fifth wall” will be used far more frequently in 2019 to give rooms’ instant character.

A three-dimensional design is certain to make a significant visual impact and can be as simple or complex as you like. Geometric designs can also be striking and quickly capture the eyes of people that come to visit.

Your other option is to just paint a ceiling in a colour that complements accent walls and any accompanying décor within the space.

Floral Patterns

Florals will be a big favourite and there’s no end of ways you can incorporate some fetching floral patterns to your interior.

Keep an eye out for throws, pillows, bedding, rugs and other furnishings boasting a colourful floral pattern or you could just install a single statement chair inside a room to brighten and lift its mood.

Don’t go too mad and add too many florals to one room though as it could be a bit distracting and overwhelming.
