Meet The Team: Julie Hart

At the end of our last Meet The Team interview we promised you that our MD Richard Manser would be up for questioning next. But, we thought we would offer you something better (sorry Boss!) and instead decided to throw some questions at one of the most valuable serving members of the team.

Position: Customer Services  

How long have you worked for 5 Star? 2 and a half years

Marital Status: Married

Children: 1 daughter

What do you drive? Toyota Aygo

Hobbies and Interests: Horse riding, swimming, drawing, watching movies, but I enjoy most things really

Favourite Food: Thai food

Favourite Holiday Destination: St Kitts

What team do you support? West Bromwich Albion (the pride of the Midlands)

What’s your favourite part of the role? The satisfaction I get from sorting out technical problems

What’s worst part of the role?  Just when things don’t go as expected or the frustration caused when things are out of your control

What’s your normal working week? Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm

Previous job: A similar role at another window company

What’s your favourite 5 Star product? Origin Bi-Folding doors – I’d have a pair in my house, if they would fit in!

In 5 years’ time was role would you like to be in? I’d like to be retired with my feet up in the Caribbean

What motivates you? Just a good old challenge as I like tackling things head-on. It’s hard to find motivation in a quiet environment where there’s not much to do

What would you be doing if you weren’t in the window industry? Working for Greenpeace, hopefully saving animals and the planet; it’s a real passion of mine.
